HORECA Sales Manager – Apt Resources – Qatar

Job description / Role

Our client, one of the market leaders in the Qatar region, a supermarket chain is currently looking to hire an experienced HORECA Sales Manager.

In order to be considered, you must have relevant Sales & Marketing experience handling Food Service accounts specifically to HORECA customers.

Minimum 5 to 7 years Sales & Marketing experience handling accounts specifically to HORECA customers in the GCC region.

Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results in the GCC.

Responsibilities:

Reaching sales targets and increasing profits.
Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned food service accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods
Responsibility to acquire new food service accounts for QATAR
Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
Identifying market potential in order to establish new account, achieve food service sales volume, revenue and profitability goals.
Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers so as to provide products and services that meet standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
Approval and critique of promotional programs with the objective of improving effectiveness and efficiency in trade spending and brand consumption development.
Develops and executes effective HORECA account-specific marketing & Sales programs.
Dealing with customer service issues.
Supervising departmental managers and organizing training.
Overseeing stock control and receiving orders.
Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Paid leaves and Medicals plus commissions

Requirements

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Technology or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years Sales & Marketing experience handling FMCG/Food Service accounts specifically to HORECA customers in the region
• Strong HORECA/FMCG/Food Service contacts
• Ability to deal at all levels to Buyer level.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record in developing markets and achieving business results.
