External Sales Executive – Reefer – Maersk Line – Jeddah

Maersk Line Jeddah is looking for an External Sales Executive- Reefer to join our sales team.

An energetic and self-driven sales professional to manage growth of a portfolio of existing and acquire new clients to maximize long term value to the Company. Specialist who will connect Company’s products with client needs creating profitable business solution.

The External Sales Executive- Reefer will be reporting to the Cluster Reefer Channel Manager.

Key responsibilities
– Customer acquisition – Focus in the penetration of our brand by developing a professional sales pitch based on our product differentiators in order to expand and create new business opportunity
– Deliver revenue/volume and new acquisition client targets
– To generate a robust business pipeline
– Establish and manage all the client meeting activities and business opportunities into a designed Sales Force system
– Monitor and track clients performance regularly using a designed Sales Force system
– To manage ST/LT negotiations with PL top customers, groups and associations
– Provide valuable input and feedback to Trade & Marketing on relevant campaign ideas based on customer knowledge and competitor actions
– To share a strong knowledge on the market and competition and share feedback origins
– Maintain excellent business relationship and ensure continuously receiving the highest support share of wallet from existing clients
– To generate network within the reefer market environment. Participate in reefer specialist forums, assembling the knowledge to become an authorized voice in the industry

We are looking for
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the industry or related (reefer segment will be an advantage), minimum of 2 years in sales.
– Knowledge of reefer import and export business in Saudi Arabia plus product knowledge.
– You should possess a clear passion for sales, a strong work ethic, in addition, you should be an organized, methodical person. Business acumen and strategic thinking. Establish account strategy and account management.
– You must have organizational and time management skills including multi-tasking, prioritizing, and the ability to plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
– Keep a visible “Can Do Attitude” at all times & develop business solutions.
– A sense of urgency and strong drive for world class performance.
– Show initiative and creativity in solving problems. Thinking out of the box!
– Hungry and fast to learn new things and adaptable to changes.
– Strong and effective communication, persuasion, negotiation and influencing skills.
– Strong ability to lead new projects, demonstrate a resilience character towards challenges and powerful winning attitude.
– Sound understanding of customer drivers, needs and requirements.
– Fluent in English “Arabic is an advantage”
– Frequent travel is required
