Scope of Position:
•Support the development of safety/security policies and standards, and monitor Company’s employees compliance
•Advise and support in the auditing process of company on safety related matters.
•Support the monthly data-collection for monitoring the safety performance, and prepare the safety sections of the monthly and annual reports
•If required, support (or in some instances conduct) internal and external HSE audits and accident investigations and report findings
•Work on the development of safety related training programs And conduct trainings, when required, to ensure all SSC staff are equipped with the relevant HSE knowledge
•Provide hazard prevention support and advice
•Keep technical and legal knowledge on safety/health areas up-to-date
•Communicate changes in legislation to stakeholders and ensure compliance
•Advice on new security systems to solidify the safety measures in SSC
•Takes ownership of own career and skill development by constantly maintaining and increasing subject matter expertise in both general and required specialization areas.
•Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (special degrees in safety management, environment or occupational safety and health is a plus)
•4 year’s relevant experience.
•Fluent in English (both oral and written), Arabic a plus.
