In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
1.Accountable for the physical receiving, safe handling, adequate placing and forwarding of goods.
2.Responsible for security of all stock and in ensuring stock shrinkage is kept to a minimum.
3.Ensuring materials and equipment movement is carried out in line with the Safe Lifting & handling Procedure as included in the Health and Safety Rules
4.Controlling of all warehouse functions relating to on site production, goods inwards, storing, picking, packing and dispatching of products/orders.
5.Assuring the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures within the T&B Dammam Quality Management System according to responsibilities specifically allocated within this QMS.
6.Leading the warehouse operatives: Assign work and cover absenteeism.
7.Initiating disciplinary action when required, and take part in disciplinary hearings as necessary.
8.Assisting with the perpetual stocktaking program as required. Ensuring that stock discrepancies are investigated and adjusted accordingly. Reviewing inventory needs and keeping adequate stock.
9.Confirming the flow of goods from external suppliers in to factory.
10.You will be the first contact with delivering suppliers, receiving goods (order & product documentation, delivery papers, custody documents, visual.
11.Liaising with third party carriers as and when necessary and examine haulage invoices for errors.
12.Liable for the effective management and supervision of all Warehouse Operatives and instructing and training personnel in the matters concerning to safe working Practices and Health & Safety issues, and also enforcing such policies.
13.Un-loading and handling of goods with appropriate tool and equipment.
14.Booking goods as received in SAP, prepare/position goods and documents for handover to Incoming Quality Control.
15.Handling packaging material, waste, and assuring efficient use of loading space and maintenance of loading equipment.
16.Responsible for carrying out standardized work processes.
17.Collaborating with incoming quality control to ensure full / correct documentation.
18.Assuring timely goods receiving & booking.
19.Overviewing of expected deliveries, organize workload and inform management accordingly.
20.Operating all factory internal logistic equipment and facilities (Crane, Forklift etc.)
21.Assisting with the planned preventative maintenance of all forklift trucks and equipment. Ensure daily maintenance and safety checks are carried out.
22.Other duties may have to be undertaken which will be determined by the company, taking into account the current level of responsibilities, experience and capabilities.
Ideally you’ll hold a Mechanical or Electrical diploma with effective communication skills, with minimum of 05 years working in warehouse preferably for an international manufacturing company.
In addition to above, you should have:
• Working knowledge in SAP.
• A good knowledge of warehouse Procedures and systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• A full driving and forklift license.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Middle East Region
