Chief HR Officer – Saudi Arabia

Main Function and responsibilities:
1. The purpose of the position is to ensure implementation of a sustainable HR strategy and performance to enable the company to achieve the goals required (individual resourcing, talent development, compensation & benefits, learning and development.).
2. This function also includes the management of the administration function covering general administration, security, doctor and first aid, government relations.
1. Operational
• Implement company HR strategy according to the Board directive
• Set-up all policy, process and rules and ensure that it followed according to the Delegation of Authority
• Advice, support and influence management on all HR related issues, policies and processes
• Focus on 3 main priorities 1) Recruitment Management – 2) Training Management (for Transfer of Technology) and – 3) Talent Management. This will involve:
o Drive recruitment for all the positions needed in the company, respecting the regulations for Saudi nationals
o Drive all trainings required for the Transfer of Technology
o Identify talents & succession plans for key position
o Facilitate and enable the employee development processes, own the development plan
• Manage the HR team in day to day operation (people process, data accuracy, EHS policy
• Set-up administration processes & rules,
• Manage the Administration team (and in particular the Iqama process for non-Saudi employees)
• Lead the budget process for the scope
2. Managerial (Budget / Administration / People)
• Recruit direct reports and provide support for them to deliver
• Manage and control costs for HR and Administration
3. Functional/transverse (optional)
• Build relationship with the JV partners in the country / region
• Cross functionally liaise with relevant stakeholders on various aspects pertaining to the HR scope
• Exchange best practice with other HR teams/staff across the JV and build effective network

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, business psychology or equivalent
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in HR management or hold management position in the relevant function (experience should have been gained with an International company)
• HR working experience in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in a starting-up company will be highly regarded
• Demonstrable experience in working with:
o Change Management
o Organizational development / consulting
o Communication
• Coaching
