Assistant Safety Officer – Al-Khubar – Siemens AG

What are my responsibilities?
Developing awareness about Safety, Security & Environment Issues.
Responsible for implementation of EHS program at Project Sites.
Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis Loss Prevention. Identification, evaluating and troubleshooting safety problems, provide advice and assistance aimed to reduce accidents and losses at site.
Implementation and Monitoring of EHS Program. Responsible for implementation of international standards and EHS policies. Ensure that the necessary EHS resources are planned and are made available at Project Sites.
Analysis, Presentation and Reporting. Plans and conduct EHS management system awareness programs for the project staff. Ensures development of site specific EHS plan & Preparation of Monthly Safety reports for the project assigned.
Communication of EHS Issues / Instruction / Warnings. Demonstrate high degree of professional presentation and leadership skills in motivating and training manpower to attain desired level. Develop EHS training material for project management team, first line supervisors and workers.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Should have good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment and clear understanding of applicable standards.
First working experience in Environmental Protection, Health Management and Safety
Sound knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements
Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English

High flexibility to travel in all regions/areas within the kingdom
Ready to go for additional responsibilities e.g. quality assurance.
