REL Quality Control Manager – Riyadh – Siemens AG

What are my responsibilities?
Supports the Quality Manager in Project in effectively planning, implementing, coordinating and monitoring the project specific quality assurance measures in the project
Support the local project management in all quality aspects at site location
Support the QMiP in all quality aspects at site location
Review project documentation (e.g. method statements, installation, testing & commissioning manuals & filled checklists, acceptance protocols, test reports) from quality point of view before submission to the customer
Control proper preparation and filing/archiving of installation and test result reports
Maintain in the ‘Project Documentation List’ the list of the installation documents, the integration and testing procedures, and the installation and test reports to be established in accordance with the requirements of the Inspection and Test Plan
Participate in project status meetings with the customer (if applicable)
Monitor material storage (warehouse) from the quality point of view
Participate in material inspection process of deliveries and follows up open points
Monitor and accompanies works at site from quality point of view (e.g. Quality of installation works, commissioning and on-site system integration and testing)
Report progress of works at site
Record nonconformance reports (NCRs) at site and supports the team in solving them
Perform onsite quality audits
Participate in IAT and SAT
Monitor the calibration status of instruments, tools used at site and co-ordinates calibration activities
Assure that a consistent set of documentation is available on site (only 1 valid version)
Assure that changes made during installation are added into the project documentation and that these changes are send back to the project team to prepare as-built documentation
Assure that installed HW and SW are registered into project documentation (HW incl. Serial numbers, etc… – SW incl. installed SW version, etc. ….)

What do I need to qualify for this job?
Technical Education or equivalent qualification from reputable university
Solid work experience as Quality Control Manager in railway construction projects.
Extensive experience in working in highly demanding project environments
Skills in the use of personal computers and Quality dedicated reporting and software tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
High motivation and commitment
